As always, we are extremely grateful for WeComm, Ltd. We appreciate their continued support and partnership as we present the conference again this year.
Holding a free conference can be challenging, but you can make a difference. How? Sign-up for lunch. Lunch supports a local non-profit. McMillan Public Library greatly appreciates that we are making a difference locally and we want to keep holding the free conference at the library for years to come! Here is what one of last years attendees said about the conference lunch; “Last year the chance to eat at the conference site saved lots of time and provided a chance to meet other ARES people. The price is a bargain!” Gerry L. Please register on-line for lunch by October 13, 2017!
DIGITAL
What’s on tap for this year? Presentations on digital from the experts in the field. Sessions will be covering VHF/UHF digital voice modes, HF digital modes, and the linking of analog and digital modes. A digital demo will be operating in the lobby all day!!! But wait, there is even more in store! Check out the entire itinerary on the Wisconsin ARES/RACES website http://www.wi-aresraces.org/
THE MEAD HOTEL BLOCK
We have exceeded our hotel block for this year (next year we plan to add more rooms). If you need a room at the Hotel Mead in Wisconsin Rapids please contact Kelly Giese (Director of Sales) at k.giese@hotelmead.com.
