The WVRA will be holding the first annual Northwoods Fox Hunt on Saturday, April 1st, 2017. All participants should meet at 10am at the main entrance of Marathon Park, 1201 Stewart Ave, Wausau.
The fox is of two meter pure bred, and will be accompanied by some of the most feared fox handlers ever to have been issued a FCC Amateur license. She shall roam freely somewhere within the jurisdictional limits of the great City of Wausau.

The fox hunt horn shall sound on the Ancient and Revered 147.135 W9SM repeater and it’s echo shall follow on the 146.865 squire (talk in on 147.135 and simulcast on 146.865). To the victor, shall go a prize worthy of such a great event (a trophy made from junk in KD9CJX’s shack) and all noble participants will henceforth stand down and retreat to a fine dining establishment for a gormet banquet where we will relive our hunting tales (we’ll find a restaurant to go have lunch at).
Those knights and noblemen who are worthy of such challenge should send a messenger to the hunt master (email KD9CJX@gmail.com).
