The Wisconsin Valley Radio Association(WVRA) is sponsoring and hosting an Amateur Radio license examination session, to be held on Saturday, November 4th, with registration at 9:00 AM and testing starting at 10AM, at the Wisconsin State Patrol building, located at 2805 Martin Ave., Wausau, WI 54401.
Testing will be conducted for ALL classes of Amateur Radio licenses. Walk-ins for the test session will be accepted. However, if you know that you will be attending, calling ahead to pre-register is helpful. The exam fee is $15.00 for 2017. Be sure to bring a form of identification along with you. A photo ID, such as a driver’s license, is acceptable. Also, be sure to know either your Social Security number or your FCC-issued Federal Registration Number(FRN), as you will need to have that information when completing the license application forms. Go to this webpage to see what else you should bring to an exam session: http://www.arrl.org/what-to-bring-to-an-exam-session.
